AFFIORAMENTI. Residui come risorsa per ripensare il paesaggio

Questo lavoro nasce come progetto d'indagine sull'area un tempo occupata dal Lanificio Cangioli in via Pomeria a Prato, in particolare quel lembo di terra tra la ciminiera e la strada, fonte di interessanti ritrovamenti e luogo apparentemente anonimo dal quale partire per innescare una riflessione sul paesaggio. Paesaggio che esiste e si definisce grazie all'azione dei suoi abitanti, in continua stratificazione.
Mentre la prima fase del progetto ha intended to highlight the need to leave the place and the traces of his experience as a methodological basis to be able to see, learn, and reinvent, the collective participation wants to emphasize the value that the action of every single person and the community has to modify the territory composing landscapes.
The participation of everyone will want to join the force that will implement a process that will result in a temporary garden and a thought.

This project comes from an artistic laboratory with Botto and Bruno, Prato, September 2007, organized by Cantieri Culturali - Youth Workshop Former Slaughterhouse - Lawn and Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci, and was subsequently developed for the final thesis Landscape Design Master. Arts Landscape Architecture, Milan Polytechnic and the Academy of Fine Arts SantaGiulia of Brescia, with the advice of Dr. Melania Bugiani, professor of the Department of Architecture and Planning at the Politecnico di Milano.
